Fortitude Club was part of Fortitude Lodge #200 F. & A. M., 24 North Franklin Turnpike. Many of the early founding fathers of the borough were members. The first master was Frank Lutz. The original building burned in the early 1960’s and was rebuilt on the same spot. In the 1980’s the lodge consolidated with a Hawthorne lodge and became the current Hawthorne-Fortitude Lodge #200 which is still active in civic and charitable causes.
